for the last ten years that we’ve been together, eric has cooked me a steak dinner for v-day. this year, he was working late so i cooked the steak and we had a quick valentine’s dinner at midnight when he got home from work. he was exhausted and went straight to bed right after and then had to wake up at 5am this morning for work again. poor guy. i’m so thankful that we at least got to spend some time together and even more grateful that he thought to bring home flowers when he didn’t even get a chance to eat a single meal all day!
